    It’s a shame that you only have one game to follow. I’m sorry.

    I suppose it makes sense that we’d have more, what with the country being approximately 25 times the size of yours.

  7. Miltonia56 says:

    HE ISNT ANYTHING SPECIAL. He isnt at the level of premier players like walcott and fabregas. averagly american players are no were near as good as brazillian or italion players.

  8. fireflys101 says:

    Yeah I’m not american but I think he’s a great player. He could prove himself in europe if he really wanted to, but he loves LA and loves being there (I think). I hope he makes a permenant move to epl, he’s already doing great in the world cup right now.

  9. abayomix says:

    I’m not American, but after watching him play at the World cup in South Africa, I’m now a big fan. World class player in the making. Go team USA. We love you in Africa.

  10. hfadae says:

    I really think this guy will always be just SLIGHTLY short of talent to be world class. He is a HECK of a player, and I think you can tell he is an absolute gym rat and a soccer nerd, watches tape after tape after tape, then hits the gym, shooting practice, and then coerver drills. He can SHOOT and has shown flashes of brilliance, he just lacks that imaginative creativity, flaire and guile to be world class. The US has come a long way to produce a great player like him, we need to keep going.

    here’s an easy guide to being an english fan:

    donovan scores international goal against superstar player – they werent taking it serious

    rooney mucks about on the pitch and makes no attacks – world class player

    @bigshot201

    Another ignorant European doubting America just because they are America.

  13. knightsofneeh says:

    @bigshot201 Bet you feel stupid

  14. AI2RTIFICIAL says:

    shit clips for a shit footballer… apparently americas best player? ive seen more talent at non league

  15. ericgolonghorns says:

    @bigshot201 No one compared him to C. Ronaldo. The everton fans seemed to agree that they liked Landon Donovan and wanted him to start with them permanently. When L. Donovan was with Everton they beat Chelsea and Man United two of the top clubs in the EPL. L. Donovan has a lot of talent and I don’t think even the most biased critic couldn’t admit to that.

  16. C00NH4TER says:

    i love the skycam – and the goal – its fucking nice

  17. moonnx2 says:

    shouldn’t the person who made this vid have put in more vids or him scoring instead of getting deflected?

  18. TheOpiumDistrict says:

    @bigshot201

    Well he did well at Everton. And would you guys stop with the silly argument that no one takes those tournaments seriously. I’ll believe that when top players don’t show up, show emotion, and cry in joy and pain. If you’re calling yourselves a no one, then ok. Your choice. But otherwise it’s wrong.

  19. ahlakksiz says:

    he is not good

  20. infinteuniverse says:

    @silvershogun1, really? where did you hear this? If the rumors are true, I think he’d be better off at Everton rather than Chelsea or Manchester United.

  21. infinteuniverse says:

    @1992alan1992, lets see if Everton can buy him off of Galaxy. I’m sure you’ve heard that the players were going to strike in the MLS, do you know why?
    Its because the MLS clubs make it difficult for their players to leave.

  22. silvershogun1 says:

    he did lol

  23. silvershogun1 says:

    i think its true there alson saying man united has an eye on him

  24. 1992alan1992 says:

    im an everton fan and every everton fan i sppek to would love to get him signed up,he’s become a hero in his short time with us,thats something thats not easy to do at a club like us!birmingham his last game so hopefully go’s out with a bang(few goals maybe) and hope that we can sign him in summer if poss,as i think both everton and him would like to see it happen,if nt im sure were gonna be first in the que come next jan,what a player he is thou!

    @vivelavidarocka

    Yeah, it was a tough miss, but that is just going to happen. They as players, and we as fans, just have to roll with the ebb and flow. Otherwise, we’re gonna wither their nerves. However, the Hull game solidified LD’s ass-kicking qualities – I’d wager to say maybe even more than in the Manchester United and Chelsea F.C. games.

    Two goals and two (or is is three?) assists in 10 games, 8 of which were full length: that’s strong for any player, especially a mid-season transfer.
